Sunnyside is a well renovated farmhouse with outstanding panoramic views looking towards the Brecon Beacons. Sunnyside is well equipped, spacious, with a warm comfortable home from home feeling.
Located on a working family farm with peaceful surroundings, where a warm welsh welcome is given to all that visit us along with a welcome pack of local welsh produce.
Sunnyside is surrounded by cattle and sheep. At certain times of year you will be able to see skipping lambs and calves in fields close to the cottage.

The cottage contains the following over two levels. 2 single rooms(one down stairs) and 5 double rooms(1 downstairs), 2 of the double rooms are big enough to turn into family rooms, we have a cot bed and a cot available.
2 bathrooms: upstairs - a bathroom - toilet, bath and basin also a toilet and basin room.
Downstairs - shower room with toilet, shower and basin. A beautiful, very spacious and well equipped kitchen with a electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and a freezer, also there is a table that seats 2.
A utility room with to place coats and shoes boots.
The dining area is large enough to comfortably accommodate 10 people.
The kitchen leads out on to a patio area, where there is garden furniture, plenty of private parking for many cars. The patio is a suncatching spot, where you can enjoy bbqs (which is supplied) and enjoy the most extraordinary panoramic views over to the Brecon Beacons and surrounding rolling hillside.
Lounge area has very comfortable sofas, with plenty of room for up to 12 adults to chat and sit together.
Cottage is fitted with oil central heating which keeps it warm all year round, and two electric fires in the living and dining areas.
Why not have bike delievered to Sunnyside from our local bike hire in Brecon. Have our own local caterers in, to prepare a great dinner party.

We have many fields for children, pets and families to enjoy the freedom to run around and enjoy wonderful views of animals grazing in the sunshine.
We are also a stone throw away from the Brecon Beacon Nation park. 15 minutes drive in the car you can also experience the outstanding views of the 'Eppynt Way walks'.
Why not take advantage of our brilliant footpaths that run right beside the cottage and enjoy the untouched scenery. Bird-watchers can enjoy the many species of bird which can be found in this thriving area, including pheasant, red kite, buzzards.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon fishing in the local river 'Yscir', where trout are often seen, alongside otters playing amoungst the beautiful rapids. Stroll up the local hills to achieve a 30 mile view of the surrounding welsh countryside.
Why not try our local 18 hole Golf Club at cradoc. We have ample sheds right next to the cottage to store bikes, fishing equipment, canoes, surf boards for those holiday makers that enjoy an active holiday.
The market town of Brecon is adjacent to the Brecon Beacons National Park where a host of wildlife can be found, perfect for nature lovers with rabbits, badgers otters and foxes in abundance and hares playing in the fields. In the local town of Brecon there are many activities that can be enjoyed by any age eg. The local canal boat trips that take you on a relaxing ride from Brecon enjoying the outstanding scenery. Why not enjoy a performance at our local threatre, pre-ordering tickets is recommended. Enjoy either an active trip to the gym, swimming pool, or tenpin bowling at our local leisure centre, or sit back and pamper yourself locally at the spa in Peterstone court. Sunnyside situated just 5 miles north of the nearest market town of Brecon, this is where you will find all the amenities needed, restaurants,several pubs, three supermarkets, but why not make life alot easier and pre-order your groceries and have them delievered by Asda or Waitrose right to Sunnysides' front door.
Attractions Farmers produce market every second Saturday of the month. Builth Wells only 20 minutes drive away home of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show. Brecon is 5 miles away, whilst the sandy beaches of the Gower Peninsula are a 1 hours drive. The owners have an extensive knowledge of the local area for those on foot, bicycle or horseback. Cardiff, capital of Wales with its beautiful castle and large shopping centre is only a 1 hours drive over the Beacons. Builth Wells, Abergavenny, Hay on Wye, Llandovery, all market towns and Merthyr Tydfil with its viaduct, all within half an hour's drive.
Eating out Nearby country pubs offering good home foods include The Three Horseshoes in Groesffordd, The Royal Oak in Pencelli, The George,The Wellington, Bishops Meadow, all close to Brecon, to name just a few. There are Chinese and Indian takeaways in Brecon. We also have burger/pizza places which will deliever. Our local pub, the Pwllgloyw Arms also offers food, which is just 10 minute drive. We also have a great local taxi service to help organise those way home.
5 mile north of Brecon, ideal base for country walk,moutaining biking whilst looking towards the beautiful Brecon Beacons Relax and unwind in the beauty of the welsh hills.
